This was my first ever box from Influenster and it was definitely a winner. I got the box and resisted opening it so I could do an unboxing video but my boyfriend had opened it and started yelling out what was in it so there was no turning back. I went through it anyways and wound up swatching, smearing, and smelling everything in the box.
The first thing I saw was the lip gloss in Mango Tango. was incredibly skeptical with the color of the lip gloss I mean it was a dark orange but of course I tried it anyways. the first thing I did was sniff and OMG it smelled like cake I LOVE CAKE! So I was already sold but I still had to try the color out and yes I loved it. When this runs out I'll have to get the full size one.
The next thing I grabbed was the cream eyeshadow in Apricot Twist. It was creamy, light and shiny. LOVE IT! It went on evenly and smooth with my fingers but of course Mary Kay did provide a cream shadow brush to use with it if you wanted.
Mary Kay sent their Lash Love Mascara which in my opinion did make me love my lashes way more. the brush has tiny little i guess you can call them spikes (yikes) but they aren't going to stab your eye out they're tiny and soft I just could not think of a better descriptive word. Anyways the applicator "spikes" really help separate and give you nice long spidery lashes.
One thing from the box I'm still trying to master is the Gel eyeliner that came with a tiny expandable brush. I personally like liquid eyeliner for my top eyelid where my lashes are but I'll try something new. I like how smoothly this stuff goes on but a little can go a long way and I had a nice lesson in that. I also think that this gel is waterproof ( I could be wrong ) when I made a mistake I tried to wipe it off and it didn't move.
The last three things were the Translucent Loos Powder, Mineral Cheek color blush, Mineral Bronzer and a powder brush. I'll admit that I have no idea how to use bronzer and I had no idea what translucent powder was but Youtube has shown me the way hehe. I am in total awe of the blush it is such an innocent light pink color and I really think it could work for anyone. It's got a nice subtle shimmer to it and I use it just on the apples of my cheeks it's perfect!
